Can anyone reccommend a good rebuilder for a 56 water pump?

Jerry in Tulsa did mine.(918-834-6779) He does an awful lot of water pumps for both industry and individuals. In my case,I walked into his shop handed him my pump. After taking one quick measurement,he proceeded to do a complete teardown utilizing two or three work stations, and in approx three minutes had mine completely torn down! He used my housing with all new internal parts....I think I walked out spending somewhere around $60.....smiling!.....walt...tulsa.ok

Thanks Walt.  If I would have only known!  The car broke down in Tulsa, so I parked it a friends and pulled the pump and radiator and brought them back to OKC in hopes of finding a rebuilder here.

Thanks Walt!  Jerry is the man to see for water pumps!  He got me going in 4 days for $75 and replaced the workings with a newer more reliable, heavier duty bearing and seal for $75!  I would reccomend him to anyone.  Thanks again.  The 56 Coupe made it home from Tulsa to OKC without a hitch, well, except for a split heater hose that we routed wrong.  But replacing that hose gave us an excuse to eat at the Rock Cafe on Route 66 in Stroud while she cooled off.
