Where isthe Vin number located on the 1958 Deville?

Hi, The VIN tag is screwed to the B post below the striker plate. If it's missing, it's at the front of the lefthand frame side bar, and on the engine on the center lefthand side of the block above the oil pan. The VIN is the engine number. These are not the same number as on the cowl (trim) tag. HTH, Jeff
