Folks,

Does the original ignition lock for a 59 Cadillac De ville have four electrical spades?  Also I am looking for a place that sells these items ignition, door, and trunk locks.
Any help would be appreciated.

Cool!  Thanks for the lead.

Ok figured out that there is are two pieces to the ignition switch, a lock cylinder and a ignition switch.  Now my next question, is how do you separate the lock cylinder from the and ignition switch?

WATCH FOR THE COMMON ISSUE OF THE HARNESS CONNECTOR AT THE IG SW. MELTING, IF SO THAT SECTION OF THE HARNESS MUST BE SPLICED WITH A NEW HARNESS/CONNECTOR. TURN THE KEY CYL TO ACCESSORY, DEPRESS THE SMALL BRASS BUTTON ON THE IGN SW HOUSING, THE CYLINDER SHOULD COME OUT.
