Does anyone have any first-hand experience at removing just the rear bumper grill for a 1960 Cadillac (excluding Eldorado)?  It seems this aluminum filler should be/might be fairly easy to remove without going so far as to remove the whole bumper assembly.  If it's not a daunting task, I'd prefer to have that part off the car as so to make repainting the horizontal valley striations in satin black a bit less difficult.
