I find it ironic that some folks that like to go back to the past with their choice in cars, have no desire to use modern technology to sometimes locate friends from their past on Facebook.

Thank you Mike. If I wanted to stay in touch with these people, they would still be friends.

There are many that I'd orefer not to cross paths with again, and I'm sure some feel the same about me.
Just what I don't want. A bunch of people I want no part of, knocking on my door looking for a place to flop for free when in town. I don't think so.

There are hundreds of hotels in the area. Check in and call me. My phone will be off.

P.S.  As for modern technology...I love it. I've made many friends via the modern technology. But I like older technology for my fun and hobby.

That's just why I said that. Some folk from my past I really don't want to associate with. And I certainly don't want them harassing me.

Facebook is a great vehicle for that to happen. But like you say, new technology has given me many great friends from around the world that I would have otherwise never met. However these forums and e-mail are great to limit contact from undesirables as well. On Facebook you are essentially waving a flag for anyone to see what you are doing.
