Hello , I have never had a problem with the Ceramic Heater and Coil Resisters  that mount on the fire wall of
my car . However i would like to have a set on hand just in case . Do theses things ever go bad ?  and who makes  replacement parts ?

Thanks ,

Bill,

It is a resistor to reduce the voltage when the car is running.

Keep an eye on e-bay, one sometimes finds a new old stock one. There are replacement units but they don't look like the original ones and have different connections.
