Short of a complete rebuild, does anyone know of someone who could fix a seal leak on the steering shaft side of my steering gear box? The unit works just fine but has a leak in the upper seal causing quite a puddle under the car etc. I have contacted a couple of folks on the infamous Vendor list who are very qualified, but quite costly. Maybe I have no choice but I thought I'd ask anyway! The manual exploded view of this thing looks quite daunting for a do-it-yourself-er. Thanks for any suggestions. Chuck

There is a thread already on the forum right now where someone is fixing this very same problem on their 56.
