i'm getting ready to do some work in my 51 and did get a copy of the build sheet which shows a special black paint code and an 'orlon' exterior top covering and special interior.i have a few factory photos showing the 'experimental' air conditioning being tested but cannot find any information on the orig upholstery which i assume was non-std.
the dash and door panels have wood veneer,and the kobs and handles and instr franes were gold plated.
any help/leads appreciated
