Right rear door on my 37 LaSalle 50 series had very little/no gap on rear side.Made a tool to move body portion of hinge mounts forward .The hinge mounts are now as far forward as they can safely be and I would like to know if the hinges are cast or steel.I'm planning to heat and bend them slightly to bring the door into final alignment, providing of course the hinges are steel .Any help would be appreciated,Thanks,Dan Burngasser, Member #23531. And yes the other doors are properly aligned/gapped etc.
