The Tassie Devil(le)

Thankfully it was never built.

But, that is my personal opinion.   The rear fender treatment looks so out of proportion, as does the front and rear.

I think for $40k I'd buy a real Cadillac, maybe it wouldn't be a V-16 but still. I doesn't look like wood, the edges look to sharp and almost shinny where the paint is off, also looks like tail lights may be missing, paint is missing pretty uniform on both rear fenders.

I wonder if the appraisers on Antiques Roadshow would give you a quarter of what they say somethings worth.

Appraiser: That's worth $40k. Owner: Would you give me $10 for it? Appraiser: Well, uh uh, I can give you $5k.

Also, I've seen people selling things at yards sales/flea markets for like $50 that's worth $10 on a good day and they'll say, my Uncle/Brother/Aunt/Etc. said not to sell it for less than $50. If the others think it's worth so much why didn't they buy it?

I don't think it looks like anything Earl/GM would even design, must less consider.

Whatever it may be, it certainly is out of my budget.

What ever it is, it does have some nice lines for the period. I don't think it is
Cadillac but more like a later Studebaker.
