I have no voltage to the dome light. I can not figure out where the wire comes from going to the light; and the shop manual is not helpful. Any one have an idea?

If it is a CDV it comes from the switch in the back seat of the car, I believe on the drivers side. it does not go on when you open the door. The folks in the back seat turn it on and off.

On sedans it comes from the switch on rear door pillar, driver's side.

This is a 62 series coupe. There are no other switches except for the one at the dome light itself. The wiring is faded so it's difficult to get any color code from it to trace. Is it possible to rotate the main light switch (on the dash) to activate current to the dome light?
