Is the frame from a 1959 Cadillac coupe the same as the ones used in the 1958 Coupe models? I do know they look similar and are nothing like my 55. The reason why is my 58 has some serious front cross member crack issues and maybe I could take one from a 59 that I can get cheap.. Thanks

The ‘58s were notorious for this.  The cross members would crack where the lower A arms bolt up to it.  I believe there was a fix for this in one of the Cadillac Serviceman, but I don't have a copy.
On mine I had the cracks welded up and the cross member reinforced.  It has not given any trouble since then.
