1960 Cruise control FITS?

  Wondering if a cruise control unit from a 60 will fit a 1961  62?  They look the same

The CC motor and unit will interchange. The mounting is similar on '60 & '61 - above the driver side exhaust manifold - which also means that the throttle connection rod, etc should also interchange. '62 units mounted onto the inner fender, but that location can be easily used, too. The unit itself did not change

The main difference will be in the interior switch and throttle adjustment cable. Each year, '60, '61, & '62 changed. But if you have a donor car and all the parts, it can be done. I did it.

   Im helping a friend, he wants to know if a cc unit from a 60 will fit properly in a 61 or 62,,thanks
