Anyone know anything about this car?  Who built it?

Current owner says the following:

vintage kustom, done in the 1960's on a 1950 cad chassis
lots of lead.......56 and 54 body components, incl 56 convertible windshield assy,
331 V8 should run
recent $5000 leather interior
length bumper tip to bumper tip 191"
wb 116"
carpeted incl huge trunk area in black carpet w/gold threads as used in 58 bonnevilles
don't know builder, but several people remember it from east coast kustom show circuit in the 60's

Kind of a cool car, reminds me of the Johnny Cash song about the guy who worked in the Cadillac plant and took some parts home every day after work.

When this one was done they were not classics yet.

1940 LaSalle 5029 4 door convertible sedan
1942 Cadillac 6719 restoration almost complete?
1957 Cadillac 60-special (Needs a little TLC)
2013 Cadillac XTS daily driver

So does anyone have any recollection of this car at all?

Any suggestions on how I might research some old car magazines to see if it was ever featured?

All good men own a Cadillac but great gentlemen drive a LaSalle. That is the consequence of success.
