Anybody ever deal with  vintage cadillac and lasalle engines in Tennessee ..the owner says he can put together a 1941 flathead and tranny ..turnkey for 23k. ..ouch...

You could pick up a good 41 engine for a lot less than that Im sure Steve, in fact you could buy a re buildable unit and get it rebuilt yourself for less if your going down the raod of a later engine, hell, the 36 engine I have here would be cheaper to get to you and rebuild, you could use all your own innards then and just get a rebore to suit your pistons.

Yes Steve, its a true 36 engine, mounted from the front and generator mounts on the side, and all the other little differences.     The bottom end on this engine was very good when I took it to pieces so I replaced it back in.   Email me
