I'm trying to get the electric divider window working in my Series 6733. There is power to the relays (2) which look like horn relays to me. The motor will only turn in one direction but very slowly and it gets hot quickly. There appears to be a short in the motor. This motor looks like a heater fan motor but has three wires, one for ground and the other two control the direction of the motor. I'm not sure if the motor can be rebuilt or if there is a suitable replacement. Anybody have experience with these? Thanks,     Harry

The 3 wire motor is used on the 39 and 40 (and at least some 41) heaters.  The purpose is just like you say for the window, it changes the direction of rotation.  I have had a couple of these apart recently and they seem straight forward enough.  I took them apart to solder new wires on and clean them up.

Thanks for the info Brad. I checked all of my spare parts and could only find two wire motors so I will try and get into this one and see if I can find the problem.
