What is the correct stamping # for a 1959 Eldo Trumpet horn?  Mine is stamped 940  and 12V.  Is this for a '59 or what year?

Simply awesome! Thanks for confirming. It was a guess when found sitting in a pile of rusty parts at Hershey but I thought that was the number so I took the small risk and bought it. Now to see if it works......

LOL at that video!

I also have a loaded '75 LeSabre Convertible.  It has the same horns.  I bought it three years ago from my brother and we drove it from Cleveland to Colorado along the Lincoln Highway.  For quite a while we were driving alongside a freight train, and I realized that the Buick's horn sounded exactly like the train's.  So of course I took to imitating the train whistle when it came to a crossing (long, long, short, long).  Just like the video.

Lordy, old cars are fun!
