How do you install the clutch fork retainer springs after the transmission is in place? The bottom springs is easy to get to but I am unable to get the top one as there is limited space for my hand. I don't think the top one was ever in the car to begin with. I used a small mirror and the hole in the fork on top is clogged. C. Gorgas 25441

I found it easier to fit the spring through the hole in the bell housing before the transmission was fitted. Don't see how you could get the top one in after? thats probably why it was left out before.

Thank you. I will put the bottom one in, leave the top out, hope that it holds. Chet
