Im looking for a flexplate for my 1967 coupe deville , witch i believe is a 166 tooth ive found some that seem like thay should work but id rather not find out the hard way does anyone know why the later 68 model is different than 67?

The 1968 engine is totally different. Only 1965-67 flywheels will work.
