Has anyone used leather/vinyl repair filler on door panels?

The leather/vinyl door panels on my car are cracked in a couple of places.
Has anyone used any of the leather/vinyl repair products to fix theirs? I see a bunch of leather seat and leather couch repair videos on youtube...but not the door panels. The door panel coverings are a lot stiffer and thicker than the seats.
And I'm assuming the material used on the door panels is vinyl, right?

Just wondering if anyone has used any of these products.

I've heard a lot of good things about these guys.
They are a national franchise operation and have
locations across the U.S.

They will come to your home to do the repair.

I was also thinking of taking it somewhere, but the thought of someone doing it here is intriguing.

However, with this pandemic raging, I’m still toying with the idea of getting a good DIY kit and taking my time to do it myself. (My car is daily driver status, not show class by ANY stretch of the imagination, so it doesn’t have to be perfect... but I do want it as good as I can make it!) Looks like I won’t actually be going anywhere in the foreseeable future, so, I don’t know...

3M has a kit that looks pretty good...

I don’t want to bring ants to your picnic but I’ve never seen any product that would repair and stabilize deep cracks like that. Especially in that spot where it needs to flex if someone leans on it.
The franchise Fix-em-up guys mainly work on smaller blemishes and fill and spray stuff for car dealers looking for a short term fix to sell a car.

Your best bet is to find some decent used lower door panels in any color and get some paint made up in aerosol cans by a local paint supplier.

More difficult but a much better result.

LOL! “ ants to my picnic “!
But finding a decent 68 coupe door panel? Could happen.  Maybe.

I agree a 68 panel will be tough.
I guess you could give the repair a shot.
