Looking to get on the road as soon as the snow melts around here and need some more info

1. Does any one have a picture of the bracket that holds the hood open, I think I am missing a piece?

2. Trunk picture of how the jack is mounted

3. On the hood cowl, I know the bolts are 10-24 thread that hold it to the body but are they anything special?

4. There is a hole at the center of the dash right where the windshield split is.  What is this for?

Thanks

I have a 1940, but they are similar.

1. The hood is counterbalanced with springs to stay open. I don't know of a bracket.

2. The jack is not actually mounted. It sits in the tool well at the very rear of the trunk. The well has a plywood cover.

3. I don't think so.

4. The windshield wiper control goes there.

Good luck!

Thanks

Dies anyone know or have any info in these springs for the hood.  How pound spring they might be?

Thanks
