Hello from Austria,
my wiper motor works very poor We ve tested the motor ( with the original fuel pump, and an external elictrical pump) and it worked very poor! The vacuum from the fuel pump is very low, 4 or 5 years ago we repaired the fuel pump with a repair kit! I drive the car very seldom, is it possible that the fuel pump is already weak again? Wiperman.com said this design of wiper motor is a failure! Does anyone have some idea for me? Caddydaddy has also no solution for me.....
Thanks very much

Most likely the problem is the Vacuum motor. The motor works by manifold vacuum and the fuel pump is just to help it when the venturi in the carburettor is open and the vacuum is low. You should not rely on the pump alone.    These vacuum pumps do not last forever and chances are it was never lubricated in the cars early days hence the internal body gets scored and worn.   New pumps turn up on eBay from time to time. pumps for other models can be modified and there are even electric conversions.
