Remove rear bearings cadillac-54, serie 62 4 door

Hi,

I have to change the left rear bearing. But how do I do that? I saw a notice that I have to demont the left brake tube. I do not why.

Please talk to light english because I'm not very good at English.

That's because rear bearings are usually held in by the brake plate. So the brake pipe has to be disconnected before you can remove the plate.

Yes, if it's holding the bearing in. It will be held firmly in position by your brake pipe. There will not be enough brake pipe to pull it over the end of the axle shaft.
