I will appreciate any help or instructions to remove the headrests from a  (I guess) 1972-74 Cadillac Eldorado (see attached pictures), that were installed in my 1941 Cadillac

Thank you

Since you will have an unsightly hole where the headrest support bar goes, why not leave them in until you get the right seats? Or if you are going to keep the seats, I think I could live with the headrests. Not much "help" except for un-asked for advice. Good luck.

If I remember correctly, the headrest pulls out by using the latch knob
under the "rest".  Pull up on the headrest, you will see a small latch knob.
Pull out on the knob (sideways) at the same time pulling up on the rest.
The headrest will pull out and off.

It will, as Barry said, leave the hole open under the rest.
