I'm 100% with you Glen. Radials on my 41 behave perfectly, been running them for nearly 20 years, never a problem and I have never had to set the steering or suspension up differently. Not only that, but the wheels of my modern cars with radials have much thinner metal than my old ones and never had one split.

Steve,

Good to hear as I anticipate putting radials on my LaSalle when the bias ply wear out.  I anticipate driving 10s of thousands of miles over the years.  Have your vehicles been driven many miles with the radials?

I had forgotten the behavior of bias ply tires from my youth. The are excellent on smooth surface....but follow every grove in the pavement.  Brought back memories.

Steve,

That is what I wanted to hear. Plans on track.  My bias tires are probably good for a few thousand miles yet as they were virtually new when I bought the car.

Appreciate the response.
