Trying to install the two lower windshield SS trim pieces on my 1960 Biarritz has been a real hassle. The rubber windshield gasket seems to have a groove in it to accept one edge of the trim pieces. I thought there were two grooves but I can't find the second one. Can anyone shed some light on how to put these two pieces on?

Thanks in advance  Whit

Lower Windshield trim should be the same for all 1960 except the Brougham. So if I'm right. None of inserts into the rubber. There are metal clips that slide into the molding and those are screwed into the cowl. If you are missing the clips you can find them here. http://www.impalas.com/1959-1960-lower-windshield-molding-clipset-el-camino-m1004l.html

Joe:   Thanks for the referral...I bought the clips...I'm not sure how they work but I will give them a try when they come. When I took the trim off (way back when) there were no clips that I remembered.

Much appreciated.   Whit
