I just got my new exhaust crossover gaskets from Olson's Gaskets. What are your thoughts on using Permatex Ultra High Temp. gasket sealer on my 1937 flatty?

A thin coating should work OK, we used to use it on aircraft exhaust pipe to cylinder gaskets with good effect and you know that gets plenty hot.  You can also get it in high temp. black and I believe the max temperature is the same, might not be as noticeable should any show.
