So I am getting close to being able to ride confidently but I am plagued by small electrical issues and I think it may have to do with the fuse panel. It looks like somebody did some mods and I am not able to tell what is correct. I have looked at my manual but the wire diagrams and key are very hard to read. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could snap a pic of what a proper fuse panel looks like.

The main issue I am having is my passenger window switch and all courtesy lights do not work, also my top blows a fuse every time I put it up or down â€" frustrating!

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Oh yea, my manual states that all verts and cars with power seats have a 40 amp circuit breaker, well mine has a 25 amp fuse in that spot...also leading to the mystery...

Sounds like you already know the problem. 20 does not = 40, and the circuit bre3akers are essentially "slow blow" to take the current for a brief while longer than a cartridge fuse.  Recommend you try correcting that problem first.  The windows in my '66 had a circuit breaker as well.

After digging more I found out exactly what you are referring too here: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rnb-85618/?rtype=10

To be honest I didn't know this existed! This is my first old car project and I am learning and enjoying every minute.

Thanks for your reply...

I know this is old, but I wanted to add a photo of the fuse panel from my shop manual! In case someone needs it in the future.
