Looks like Pendleton Ave is now MLK Blvd.

ANDERSON — From its gritty start near downtown to its end at Interstate 69, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard stitches together the city's faded glory and its hopes for the future.

It's a gateway to the city that has rolled with the punches thrown at Anderson. Back when it was Pendleton Avenue, it cleaved a Guide Lamp complex that filled the landscape and employed thousands for generations.

You could reach out to the current Cadillac dealership in Anderson.

Check with the Anderson Library and ask if they have copies of City Directories from back in the day.  You might find info on the gas station ownership and if there was a previous owner for a Cadillac dealership.

You could also contact the local Historical Society.

That intersection is near the Speedway; perhaps contact them too to see if someone recalls the gas station.

Thank you very much Carfreak, I guess you did not have a personal connection to Anderson? You just did some serious research? Thanks for your effort anyway!
