Usually, my discovery period is full of horrible cuss words that were banned by the US Navy years ago.

HA! I made E5 based on my ability to use the "F" word as a noun, pronoun, adjective and adverb in the same sentence.
Don't tell me my Navy has banned cussing? I'm so glad I'm out, miss the job desperately, don't miss the politics now.
Details on your blue jacket service please.

Yep, todays Navy is very different.  Just look at what happened to the USS Fletcher.

I know the land shoes are black, I was taking a shot at myself for not knowing about the Fletcher.

Are you referring to the DDG-62 Fitzgerald?  Yes, that was stupid.  My dad served on a Fletcher class DD-546 Brown in Korea, 2 tours.
My reference to bad USN words came from him.  Always had the Navy attitude.

Yes, my '75 Fleetwood needed another heater core only 16 years and 1,000 miles after it had been last replaced.
I feel your pain. The heater was bypassed before I got my 64. It turned out the evaporator wasn't much better. The heater was recored and the evaporator was replaced. The first two photos show what I was greeted with when I puled the heater assy out of the car and put it on the bench for repairs. The third photo, the new heater core can be seen reinstalled. The new evaporator is in place as well. This was right after I dropped the engine back in.

And yes, I think that is the cleanest survivor Fleetwood of that year that I have ever seen. I sure do hope you don't need to do the heater core on that car.
