Alex have you got the Cadillac workshop manual? I just wondered how you had the engine set-up?

You said in your last communication you thought the problem was solved? Is it?

Hi John Paul,

thank you for your message. I ordered the manual. But I have a lot of printouts at hand that will help me.

I'm on the front suspension right now and can't take a test drive yet.

The engine was fine when idling, had about 194 F temperature after 15 minutes. But I definitely still have a vacuum problem. I will replace all of the hoses, check for leaks and keep reporting.

I'm not quite sure what influence the thermal vaccum valve has on the temperature or what function it has at all.

I have to work the car through completely.
