My son is at the point in the restoration of his '59 Six Window and needs to get a new exhaust system. Any recommendations on a shop to bend the pipes or order a kit and install it himself. If the kit is the way to go, who has  ordered one and from whom?  If you know of a top notch Shop in the Orlando Area we'd appreciate you sharing that information. Thanks in advance.Bill R.  CLC# 29203

What about the hangers - OEM or aftermarket fits all.
Maybe a SS wrap up front.

Have fun,

G'day Bill,

Not sure just how particular your Son is about the restoration, but when I change any exhaust systems in any car that is not constantly being used, I always go for a complete Stainless Steel system.   Never rust out, and will last the life of the car, or even longer.

The initial cost is high, but well worth it.

PS.   Don't use the cheap thin stuff that creases when bent, as that stuff creates noise.

I used 'aluminized stainless'. After 10 years it still looked like new.
Unfortunately, I never got any pictures of it.

I used Waldron for stainless steel. Fit well and is great 6 years later.
