Trunk Kit List

Here is my personal list for my trunk emergency bag.

• Cables
• flashlights. 2 x Maglite D-cell.
• Rags
• electrical wire and stripper
• Gloves
• Zip Ties, big 36 in. ones too. All sizes.
• Fire Extinguisher
• Tools--sockets and wrenches and screwdrivers
• Biggest flathead screwdriver you can find.
• Pliers/needlenose, channels, and snips
• PERSUADER pliers, big as possible!
• Small crow bar
• Multitool for glovebox
• Tire Gauge. I use a racing style. Digital ones are iffy.
• Warning Triangles
• Fix A Flat
• First Aid kit. Don't skimp, get a big one. It will save your bacon!
• Water bottle and candy bars. Nuts. I use a heavy duty Nalgene liter bottle.
• Duct Tape
• Steel wire
• Hat
• Buck Knife, folding
• Fuses
• Briefcase with pens, marker and paper, "Help! my car broke down!"
• Kleenex / Carmex
• Small Umbrella
• Wool blanket. And a waterproof picnic blanket.


Ive also been collecting old leather luggage to keep all that stuff in. My Dad passed away and left me a few of his old leather suitcases. Its fun to open the trunk and complete the vintage look!
Ebay and Etsy are good to find all that vintage fun stuff.
