Standard transmissions were available as an option till what year? My guess would be mid 50s but the answer might be surprising. Please dont include allantes or anything built after the early 70s

Doug, the last I knew of was the 53 Cadillac.

Yes, 53 was the last year that is was offered, but I believe that it was only available for the 75 Series. Maybe for the 60 and 62s by special order, I dont know.

The Cadillac I saw was a 53 and was not a 75 series. Dont remember what series, but was a four door.
Good Luck, Jim

Hi, Doug-

The last year noted in the Master Parts List is 1953, although its possible that something may have been special ordered and built after this point.  Jumping forward in time a bit, I think the new V-Series CTS is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
