Is the 39 LaSalle transmissision the same as the 39 Cadillac? Thanks

Boxes are the same. Tailshaft housings are different on the 65&70 series. I believe the commercial models differ too. Speedometer gears also differ because rear axle ratios are different, Cad v Las.
