where is the vin i cant find it on the dash or on the A piller

It is right near the drivers side windshield post, at the edge of the dash cover where it meets the windshield.  They did not recess the dash to allow easy viewing of it near the base of the windshield.  First year for this location.  It is very small, compared to todays VINs.

It is also located on the engine block (impossible to read easily) and the transmission.  But, if your engine/tranny has been changed, it wont match

Thanks I found it it was burried under some crud but it was very small
