TO: All owners-lovers of the USED, ABUSED and MISUSED Cadillacs and La Salles. Greetings! As you progress with your restoreation of these loveable old cars, you will have need for parts, (not a lot,I hope) but you will from time-to-time need something that you will need to order. So, why not make it easy on yourself by starting a SOURCE LIBARAY now. To help you get started, I will supply a couple of sources.
#1. Pauls Chrome .com ( says they can do rechrome of Plastic items).
#2. National parts dept.com
#3. Fasteners & Trim, http://www.spaceagepaint.com TARGET=_blank>www.spaceagepaint.com
#4. Just a suggestion, If you dont have "GOOGLE" or "DOGPILE" listed on your "favorite" list, do it NOW. Everyone that has enet has a search engine and can load GOOGLE or their favorite "search" engine onto their computer.
HTHs someone.
Good Luck,Christmas is coming, Jim

Ive been using a source called partsvoice.com to find NOS parts, and Ive had really good luck with them.  If someone could do what theyve done for used parts searches, finding a part would be a breeze.

Denise, Thanks for reading my post. I looked-up the "partsvoice.com that you spoke of in your post. It could/can be a real good source for anyone that has a 1973 or newer car, but still a good source.( my car is a 38)
Good Luck, Jim

Randell, Thanks for the additions, I have one more for the time being, It is: OREGON PLATING
              436 SOUTHEAST 6th AVENUE
              Portland, OR 97214
              Phone no. 1-(503)-232-7416
              FAX PH. no. 1-(503)-232-3543
Anyone else have their favorites, feel free to add them.
Good Luck, Jim
P.S. I have used the plating shop and Iam very satified with the work. Just be sure to tell them you want "show-quality" chrome, reguardless of who you have do the work.

Thats a good idea. I have created folder in my favourites for parts scources and so on. Im much help with the older stuff, but with my HT4500 project it helps.

I have also done it with other things like my models and so forth. It saves much time in locating things. Whenever I find something new, I add it to that folder.

Also, you can creat a folder on your desk top with scources. Open a word documents for each category. Simple and fast referance. And you can print it out for access away from home.
