very very beautiful indeed!

but shouldnt the radiator hose have tower-style clamps? I know they did in 1959-1960, while the wire clamps (as in the pics) were used on fuel lines, heather hoses, etc...

just wondering

Guys,

In the interest of authenticity, the metallic color booster may not be correct. The original on the car had a very faint yellow cast (not cad gold) but more like chromate. The unit in the picture is a rebuilt that arrived light gray or silver in color. There was no chromate or cad paints at the time, so I painted it either Eastwood Detail Gray or Alumina Blast. The detailing shown did win a CLC Senior (1993), but I would buy an Authenticity Manual if you are doing a competition show car today.

The wire hose clamps are correct for ’57…….Tower type came later.

Thanks for the kind compliments.

HTH,
Ralph
