what are the cadillac part numbers for the

1948=hood
1949=hood

1949=rear fender

1948/1949=rear deck lid

and the interchange for the rear deck lid what else will work in its place??

1949=hood:    3630050 for series 60S, 61, 62, 86

1949=rear fender:    Right hand: 3508257, Left hand: 3508256 for series 61 and 62 coupes

    Sorry my parts book only goes to 1949.  I don't have a Hollanders manual, either.

Hi, If you are "desperate"  enough to interchange other GM makes, try 1948/49 Buick Super/Roadmaster sedanettes, and the 1948/49 Olds 98 sedanette. These would probably fit the opening OK, but there might be some difference in the way the trunk latches work. And of course, you would have to fill all the "wrong" holes and make the Cadillac ones. This was a two year only body style, and no other GM makes will interchange. The trunk hinges themselves are probably the same, as I can't see GM making different ones for so small a # of cars.
