I am looking for 1940 LaSalle rear license plate bracket.

I may need to put two together. It has a tab that protrudes under the trunk handle bracket and about 1 1/2 inches above the handle there is a hole to put a bolt through the trunk lid for stabilization and than an extension to the top of the license plate.     I found one that looks correct on eBay. It is from a 1941 Chevrolet. The pictures look correct? Maybe a little modification in in order? Hope to get it soon so I can drive the convertible a bit prior to Seattle rain taking over.
