Yes. A '62 engine & trans will fit into a '60

The big question was answered last night.

The '62 engine and trans were installed (by myself and a friend) into my '60 SDV last night. The fit is great.

The only items needed were the rear transmission mount and transmission mount cover. Had to buy a '60 transmission mount and locate a '60 transmission mount cover. The '60 mount and cover fit correctly on the '62 trans.

The engine sits perfectly as well as the trans. The only item I have not tried to fit yet is the front crossmember.

Unfortunately, we discovered a stuck valve and my guess is the heads will have to come OFF.

So it goes.
