Folks,

Wondering about the 1940 under seat heater motor for the small series. My book shows that the 1940 and 1941 have different parts numbers (but not sure if it is for the front motor or the under seat motor).

I am wondering if tthe1941 under seat heater motor will work in the 1940?

John- Under "Automaiic Heater", Group 54.0125, iit lists the same number for the heater motor (2 needed) for 40-50.52.62,60S, as well l as the 41-62 , 61 etc.
Part number: 504 7492.

The undder-dash defroster/blower motor appears to be the same from 1940 to many 1947-  Part nuymber 504 7596.

47s with a 17" wire lead take a different number.

Sounds like you can use your 41 u-st heater morotr in your small series 40 u-seat htr no sweat

The earlier style "Ventillating defroster heater", llike the one in my 39-61 ihas a separate bunch of numbers.

Mike,

Thanks. After comparing, as you suggest, they seem to be the same.
