We just entered the 4th year of our restoration journey, we hope to finish in 2024. We have a long way to go, but have come just as far. It took Gary 1 year to remake wood body by hand, only able to save about 10 original pieces. Proud of where we are at and can't wait to cross the finish line for an awesome reveal party.

Great car, fantastic work, Love it!
Greetings from Sweden/ Johan
I can really appreciate the wood work. Is there anybody on the west coast that makes top bows and wood for bodies? Seems everyone is on the east coast
Nice work! It's good to see the old ones come back to life!
Our Facebook memory today from 2019. When he knows what he wants, he makes it happen, always up to the challenge.
We finally finished the body prep and were able to paint her Friday....a very long 12 hr. day, but she is beautiful in her original state blue & black.
Hopefully within the next 30-45 days we'll have the windows, wiring and pinstripe done so we can put her back on the chassis.
So excited that after 4 years of hardwork, that we were finally able to get her painted this past Friday, more to do, but this was a huge milestone. Restored to her original colors per the build sheet of State Blue & Black.

Our latest update on our LaSalle restoration. After 2 years apart we were finally able to put both body and chassis back together. Now working on finishing a few things in preparation for upholstery in January, we are closer! Ooh,la,la,lasalle......
Happy New Year.....
We've made some more progress and we were able to crank the engine for the 1st time since May 2021. So excited to see our restoration getting closer to finished.

Excited that part of our restoration journey was posted in the Lasalle Appreciation Society Magazine for April. We are so close to the finish line, and so excited about how far we've come to restore her 1930 beauty.Screenshot_20240315_182945_OneDrive.jpg
When you need 10, 1930 interior window shade brackets for your Lasalle because the originals are broke or not usable and to buy them is at the value price of $290 a pair.......say it with me.......
What Do You Do?
Yep......you make them. Gary & I spent all day Saturday making a prototype and after some tweaking, sanding, and polishing we had a plan.
Gary was able to make all 10 yesterday. Now to make the final cuts, and shape, then I will be ready to polish them.
Next challenge is finding the right silk fabric for the actual shades, as the originals were silk and lightweight.
