NOS hood "pop up" springs.  If you are tired of trying to pry your hood up after you release it from the cab, these springs are just the trick.  After years of the 165 pound hood slamming down on them the original springs just seem to give up.
$65.00 plus the shipping will solve this problem

Roger,
I believe the part number is a superseded number.  The springs work on everything from mid 60s through the 76 eldo, so the spring IS stout enough for all these hoods.

You may be right, Greg. After all, this is "just" a spring, nothing which must be calibrated!

Apparently they superseded the spring with one that "covers all bases". I have used this spring on everything from my 66 CDV to My 72 Eldo to my 75 CDV and even on my 79 Paris and it works correctly and continuously (25 years on my 76).

I had a couple of springs I was going to fit on  my 68.  Those hoods are very heavy.  However, I sold the car so got rid of the springs.  I would think you could custom fit them to any 60s car.
