Post by: sjocad on February 05, 2014, 05:26:08 AM
Hi Cadfriends.
I am soon ready restoring my 76 Fleetwood,but I have a question.

The rear Lamps, not on Bumper,I miss that cromed frame, around it,..
Can anybody LEAD me to one,?? I need just one. They are alike, right and left.
See photos..
THANKS,,,svein in Norway

Left and right are interchangeable, you just have to flip them. The tabs on the backside secure them to the filler panel. Should be the same on all full sized 76's ( not Eldorado) . B. Norman

Svein,
As you probably already know, often, when the fillers (rubber around the lights) are replaced, the auto body shop simply throws the old ones out.  The 1975 Cadillacs (deVilles) did NOT have this "chrome" edge and commonly, many people think the '76 looks okay without them!

I hope you find them!
Good Luck.

Did your car come from the UK?
I sold one a few years ago to a guy in England in the same colors.
Just curious.

Never found my extra pair of rear light bezels for the 76, but looked at the spares I have for my 76 and They Are Different in the way they attach. Can be reversed in a pinch, bit there is a definite left and right piece to be correct.  Would only be noticeable from the rear side--I was surprised !! Still looking ....Barry Norman
