Hi all!
For a 1964 car, I'm searching:
1 dip stick tube for the engine, # 147 1858. The tube was used in 1959, 60, 62 to 64. A used one is OK.
1 heat riser # 363 1814. Same part from 1956 to 1964. If used, only in a very good shape.

Don't suggest Cooper's. They nay have the parts but it's a very difficulet company. The only way to get parts from them is to go to the store.
A found also a company in Canada who has the parts in stock. They just don't anwser.

Have you checked ebay for the dipstick tube, 2 vendors selling aftermarket ones. I've been watching for a transmission dipstick for my '62 and came accross the tubes

Well, I hate ebay. I had a look some time ago without result. I will try again, I still hate it! Thank you anyway!

Rog, I have a dipstick. I have several nice risers, lost in the house, I will try and find a nice one today.

Huge piles of engine parts, brackets, tin, Hydramatic & Jetaway parts,  thousands of stainless moldings, dozens of perfect sedan doors.

Hi John!
Thank you for the offer. However, I don't need the dipstick, but the tube!
If you have a good heat riser, I'll take it.

This afternoon, I tried again to order NOS tube and heat riser to a company located in Canada. Let see what happens...

I do have the nice working riser right here on my desk. I have several tubes mixed up, do you know how long each section of the tube is?

Try the stairs, if not there then look in the bathroom closet behind the Monkey Butt Powder.   :D
Enjoy life - it has an expiration date.

John, the total length of the tube is 14.37", from the bulge to the top: 8.66" and from the bulge to the bottom: 5.7"
Why don't you mark the tubes when you remove them?
