Back when it still stood out driving a brand new Cadillac.

It's funny if you watch the other videos of non-Cadillac's theirs not nearly as much excitement as when a Cadillac is revealed.

To see those lovely cars, then to top it off, the Eldorado Convertibles.   Beautiful.

Thanks for sharing.

Another Lets make a deal clip, This includes a "compact" 1965 (?) and some Cadillac "De Zonks", a 1939 and a 1958 (?).
I'm pretty sure I got the years wrong :(
Some interesting projects there, though!!!

Funny. Although the "1939" Cadillac is obviously a 46 or so. Actually not a bad deal.

The 57 convertible is nice too.

That '37 Packard is also in good shape. Amazing how cars like that - even the 30+ year old (at the time) Packard - was treated as junk back then.  They probably bought the Cadilllac convertible for $20.

Those are great clips too!

Funny how those "old" cars are not that old really.  The flattened 65 Cadillac was probably not more than 10 years old at the time.   Imagine today having them win a flattened 2000 Deville?  That 57 convertible must have been a collectible even then.   No more or less than an Allante convertible today.
