CLC Wrist Watches

Some sent me this pic, and is making inquiry about this watch.  Anyone know anything about them?  Is it a CLC item at all?

I have recently found this old CLC wristwatch at a yard sale and you are the only person I can find to contact who may be able to tell me when these watches were manufactured.  Do you happen to know?

eBay has nothing to do with this watch.  The inquirer stated it was purchased at a yard sale.  It appears to be a 1960 vintage wind-up, as opposed to battery powered, watch?

I just have no idea if it had any affiliation with the CLC.  The letters in the logo are just that, "CLC," but that does not necessarily mean anything.
