I've seen some come up on Craigslist from time to time.  Use Search Tempest to check beyond your local area.
Also, look at the H.A.M.B. forum.  As Steve said, hotrodders like these trannys and there have been several posted for sale on this forum over time.

A quick search just now revealed there were several sold recently.  Keep checking, they pop up.

Another possible source is ebay.  Search "lasalle transmission" and occasionally one comes up for sale. 

Also, since you have 2 transmissions, couldn't you try to rebuild yours using the 2nd one for parts.  They are not very difficult to work on.

Don't confuse it with the side lever later box Jay[ The top loaders are considerably more difficult to work on requiring some special tools.

Yes, Yes, I know. That's always been my contention to, BUT, your countrymen have always referred to them as 'Top loaders', probably because the stick comes out the top.   I argued your point years ago.

The term "top" loader was started by the muscle car guys. It had NOTHING  to do with 37 transmissions. The same guys that started "build" sheets!! The 37 was always referred to as a floor shifter.

Ol Bob is absolutely right.  A top loader is the heavy duty 4 speed that Ford came out with in the mid-60s to use behind 390s,427s and 428s mainly,  and even 302s and 351s (Windsors and Clevelands).  I can't remember if they were still available after 1973. The folks that started using that term for any floor shift are probably the same ones that refer to ANY
rear hinged door (even rear ones) as a Suicide door.
A little knowledge etc etc.

I gave some misinformation the transmission is New London CT also same person is listing a 37 flathead (LaSalle) unknown condition 1 head missing best offer. New London is maybe 20 miles from Rhode Island.  craigslist listing R.I. & CN  E H
