I like the term he uses, "straightforward restoration" better than "easy restoration".

Yep, start at the start, then move all the way, straight forward, to the completion.

Is anybody else getting tired of For Sale postings that don't have a price?  Other clubs I am in make this a requirement or the post is pulled.

Even more mystifying than no-price ads is the usual "package deal" pitch.  In this case, doesn't common sense tell us that it would be lots easier to find four buyers for one car each than to find one buyer for four cars?

Ah, just googled around the name and we need to cut the guy some slack. He’s an old timer and seems to be active in antique autos of some reknown as the owner of ‘the oldest known Ferrari’ and seems to be involved in other makes as well.

May be cleaning out his barn in Prescott, AZ or something.

OK but what’s his pricing? He must have some figure in mind.

Oh, I agree about pricing, but since I am not interested in purchasing, I can’t make an issue out of it specifically....just that I think the forum should have a rule about pricing in for sale ads...with reasonable notice...

At this stage the only Forum Rule with regards to pricing is:
"•   It is recommended all vehicle ads state an asking price and location."

Sellers are doing a disservice to themselves by not including a price and location in any For Sale item being put up for sale, both in Cars and Parts.   Especially Large objects like Cars and really heavy or large parts.

Without photos and prices I show about as much interest in buying as the seller does in selling.

Seems like to me a total lack of any effort when trying to sell such cars (or anything) of considerable value. I simply return that sentiment as a buyer.

I think some of the best deals I've got were from ads missing price and photos.  Yes a bit harder to get the ball rolling but if it's a car you're interested in the effort can pay off.
